I begin to feel sorry for the owners of these cameras. Then I just laugh.
News: Slo-Mo & Timelapse of Hong Kong = GORGEOUS
Shot on the 7D, filmmaker Euan Preston captured these images of Hong Kong that make me want to travel there immediately. Stunning photography. The slow motion footage was shot at 60P then processed through Twixtor at 25% to get these hauntingly beautiful images.

Here is a Philip Bloom Meet Up in Key West where they spent the day shooting Anamorphic, with an anamorphic clamp. For anyone with a 4K monitor and the bandwidth to support, YouTube announced at VidCon2010 that it will allow streaming of 4K content (4096x3072). That's almost 4 times their current hosting resolution.

I watched Michael Mann's "Public Enemies" (DP: Dante Spinotti) last night for the first time and was struck by a very unconventional, yet effective (I think), cut. In the opening sequence (video below), Dillinger is driven up to the entrance of a prison and escorted out of the car.
